puddle-jumping and gardening
Indoors: cooking, design, rearranging furniture, knitting, and now
I like to install tiles. I am also writing a book.
General: travel
Every year I grow pumpkins, but not just any pumpkin. I grow the
kuerbis kernel pumpkin which is native to Austria. They are hardy
and produce a nutty-flavored seed. The seed is cold-pressed to
produce a dark oil. I don't grow enough pumpkins, so I just bake
with no additives and they come out moist and tasty.
In the last year I have been through most of Austria, parts of Hungary,
Northern England, London, Venice, Southern Germany and California.
That's a lot of travel.
Goals: to get back into sailing and buy a boat, to become a better
horseback rider and teach the boys about horses
